Primary Responsibilities:

• Extract, analyze, aggregate, and interpret data for our broad range of clients
• Lead quantitative analysis of health care claims utilization and cost data
• Lead the development and design of complex data programs to construct detailed data sets leveraged for client reporting/analytics
• Support in the development of junior analysts
• Work closely with our teams to maintain, update, and continually improve the actuarial models
• Work in a cross-functional team forming partnerships with the Medicare, Trend , and Commercial actuarial teams across RMI
• Work closely with the actuary leading Rate filings to ensure rating methodology in rate filings is consistent with the rating model i.e. Medicare Bids
• Manage the workload and career development of a small staff of actuarial analysts
• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:

• Nearly-qualified actuary (Preferably cleared 8 actuarial exams including CP1 or equivalent from IFOA / IAI / SOA)
• Total relevant work experience of 9+ years in either of Health/General Insurance actuarial domain
• 3+ years of experience working in US healthcare market
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL, SAS, and either of R, Python, Tableau, PowerBI, VBA, or predictive modeling
• Solid written and verbal communication skills and experience interacting with senior management
