Acute Care Nocturnist Nurse Practitioner - Savannah, GA

We are associate directors with Sound Physicians at Memorial Health University Medical Center, in charming Savannah, Georgia. Memorial Health UMC offers several residency programs, including an internal medicine program; thus, many hospitalists on our team have completed their residency here. • Our team comprises 30 physicians and 7 advanced practice providers (APPs), including a dedicated nocturnist team.
• We are supported by Sound's own clinical performance nurses, program managers, and coordinators.
• Our clinicians bring diverse geographic, educational, and training backgrounds who lean on and learn from each other in their approach to patient care.
• We have a team-oriented approach with other hospital department leaders and managers who are eager to offer help to assist in our practice.
• We value providers who are team players and are comfortable leading a treatment team for each patient.

• Memorial Health University Medical Center is an established tertiary care hospital that receives transfers from all surrounding counties and across state lines.
• We have day and swing admitters throughout the day, as well as dedicated nocturnists.
• There is a resident-led MET/RRT team, and hospital medicine does not respond to codes.
• The hospital has a closed ICU with a separate intensivist group. We do not require procedures however, we are welcome to maintain privileges.
• We’re looking for a 4p-4a APP to help with admissions and cross coverage calls working with 2 nocturnist doctors/night.
• Our EMR is Epic, with access to our internal informatics platform.
• Compensation ranges from $125K - $130K We also offer quality and productivity incentives.
