Summary
This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. - Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
- Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- Generally, current Federal employees applying to STRL jobs must serve at least one year at the next lower grade level. All qualifications and pay band requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement and documented in your resume.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or NO-04 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Demonstrate analysis and execution of technical performance of activities, providing technical and programmatic advice, guidance, and recommendations, assist with the development plans, and mentoring and leading others to accomplish complex goals..
NO-04:
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or NO-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Demonstrate in depth knowledge of program/project management principles, acquisition programs, methods and practices, including developing plans and schedules, estimating resource requirements, defining milestones and deliverables, monitoring activities, evaluating and reporting on accomplishments.

Additional information
This position is in the Science & Technology Reinvention Laboratory (STRL) Human Resource Management System pay band for Department of Defense laboratories.
The pay schedule and pay band for all Administrative Specialist/Professional Positions will be NO-1/2/3/4/5/6.
This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.
Several vacancies may be filled.
