Job Description

Wake Forest Emergency Providers Advanced Practice Providers work at Iredell Health System's Iredell Memorial Hospital Emergency Department and Urgent Care facilities. Iredell Health System is a nonprofit organization that is locally owned and managed. Iredell Health System's purpose is to provide advanced healthcare while maintaining the warmth and compassion of a community hospital, giving patients the peace of mind that they are getting the best medical care available.

Providers may have a primary location however also willing to rotate to provide coverage between Urgent Care centers and at the Emergency Department as needed in Mooresville and Statesville, NC.

Mooresville, North Carolina is a lakeside destination just north of Charlotte, NC. Statesville, North Carolina a charming place nestled in the brushy mountains of NC at the intersection of I-77 and I-40, is a place you can choose from lake activities, biking through area parks and trails, featured attractions and events, to ‘pick your own agriculture’, there is something for everyone to discover.

Iredell Health System's Advanced Practice Providers are employed by Wake Forest Emergency Providers. As an affiliate with Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist (AHWFB), Wake Forest Emergency Providers (WFEP) is a nationally recognized, 501c3 non-profit, proudly providing health care for all! We are contracted with select, partner organizations to provide staffing for Hospital Emergency Departments, Free Standing Emergency Departments, and Urgent Cares throughout the North Central and Northwest regions of North Carolina.

Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
  • Licensed, or eligible, for North Carolina as an NP.
  • BLS, ACLS Certifications through American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
