Job Description

We are seeking a driven and personable Associate to join the growing Client Service team to help service the company’s rapidly growing client base. A successful candidate will be a highly collaborative team player who is eager to provide white glove service, while building and nurturing relationships with new and existing fund managers and clients. They thrive in fast paced environments, have exceptional attention to detail, and are service-oriented collaborators. Responsibilities:Â
- Drive successful client outcomes by assisting new and existing clients through active communication by processing client requests, and providing guidance throughout the transaction process (Pre-Trade, Trade, and Post Trade)Â
- Serve as the main point of contact to clients to facilitate trades throughout the transaction process by supporting clients with subscription documents, transfers, capital calls, AML/KYC, redemptions, managing fund closings, and attending to other ad hoc requestsÂ
- Become a subject matter expert of the CAIS platform and lead demos for new clients to help them understand the mechanics of the platformÂ
- Liaise with clients on the user experience of the CAIS platform and partner with the Technology team to enhance the client experienceÂ
- Create and execute new processes to further automate client workflows and ensure a seamless client experienceÂ
- Collaborate cross functionally with various teams at CAIS spanning Legal, Finance, Sales, Operations, and Technology to appropriately respond to inbound requests and questions, and streamline and improve existing processes Â
- Additional responsibilities will be determined based on capacity, skill, and interestÂ
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, or a related disciplineÂ
- 2 - 5 years of client service or investor relations experience at a fund or financial services firmÂ
- Strong client service orientation with the ability to manage multiple competing prioritiesÂ
- Strong understanding of alternative investments and the wealth management ecosystemÂ
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM programsÂ
- Exemplary verbal written, and interpersonal communication skillsÂ
- FINRA Registrations Series 7, 63 preferred or required within 6 months of hireÂ
CAIS’ compensation package includes a market competitive salary, a performance bonus, and exceptional benefits. For candidates located in New York, New York, the base salary range for this role is $85,000 - $120,000. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.
