Aerial Lineman, Directional Bore Crew, Coaxial Cable Splicers, Concrete and Asphalt Workers

Job Summary We are seeking skilled workers in the utilities construction field to join our team. The candidates will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunication and network infrastructure. This role requires experience in coaxial and fiber splicing, cabling, and the operation of heavy equipment such as bucket trucks, skid steers and jackhammers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, with the desire to learn new skills, and have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities • Install, splice, and maintain fiber optic cables and other telecommunication systems. • Operate heavy equipment, including bucket trucks, to access overhead installations. • Read and interpret schematics for network infrastructure projects. • Perform construction tasks related to cabling installation and maintenance. • Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively in various environments. • Conduct testing of low voltage systems to ensure functionality and compliance with specifications. • Climb ladders or poles as necessary to complete installations or repairs. Skills • Proficient in field service operations with hands-on experience in cable splicing. • Concrete, asphalt and underground trenching or boring skills • Experience with electrical systems and low voltage installations. • Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately. • Competence in using hand tools and power tools for construction tasks. • CDL drivers with field experience Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week Benefits: • 401(k) • Dental insurance • Health insurance • On-the-job training • Opportunities for advancement • Paid time off • Vision insurance Work Location: In person
