Position
Coronado Manufacturing is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Aerospace Program Manager to join our team in Sun Valley, CA. The Program Manager will serve as the primary liaison between our aerospace customers and internal operations, ensuring on-time delivery, adherence to tight tolerance requirements, and full compliance with aerospace and defense standards. This role requires strong communication, an understanding of CNC machining, and the ability to manage multiple customer programs from contract award through delivery.

Our workforce is comprised of highly skilled machinists, inspectors, and programmers with decades of experience. When it comes to tight tolerance, precision-machined, mission-critical parts delivered on time, Coronado is an industry leader. Coronado operates out of its AS9100 Rev. D certified facility in Sun Valley, California, 3 miles north of the Burbank Airport.
Responsibilities
• Serve as the main point of contact for the company’s aerospace and defense customers.
• Manage customer communications regarding schedules, change orders, engineering requirements, and delivery status.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through proactive updates and issue resolution.
• Develop and track schedules, ensuring deadlines are met for manufacturing, inspection, and delivery.
• Coordinate with production planning, quality assurance, and purchasing to ensure resource alignment.
• Manage contract requirements, including drawings and specifications.
• Work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure technical requirements are understood and executed.
• Monitor production progress and resolve bottlenecks by escalating issues and coordinating cross-functional solutions.
• Ensure compliance with aerospace quality systems (AS9100, NADCAP, ITAR).
Skills Required
• Exceptional communication and customer-facing skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking ability in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (experience with ProShop preferred).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to drive results across teams.
Background and Education
• 5+ years experience in program management at an aerospace company.
• Experience working with AS9100-certified environments and defense/aerospace contracts.
• BS or BA required (or the work equivalent).

• Competitive base salary + bonus commensurate with the candidate’s background and experience

Pay: $105,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
