CACI is in search of an Agile Business Analyst (Journeyman) to support critical software development activities for PM Mission Command (PM MC) and the Mounted Mission Command Family of Systems in Huntsville, AL

What You'll Get to Do:

Mounted Mission Command Family of Systems as an on-the-move, networked mission command information system that enables units to share near real-time friendly and enemy situational awareness information, share common operation maps and graphics, transmit and receive command and control messages, and conduct interactive communications via chat rooms. Within Mounted Mission Command are four Programs of Record, Software, Network, Transport, and Compute and Store. Mounted Mission Command-Software is one of three major components of the Army Common Operation Environment and will interface and share data with other computing environments.

More About the Role:

The Agile Business Analyst will work to define business requirements, translate business requirements to functional, user, and system requirements, and develop supporting materials such as use cases, flowcharts, context diagrams, wireframes, interface system diagrams, and data flows. The ideal candidate will have proven experience developing business, functional and system user stories and requirements for small and large-scale web applications.

• Support the project team to ensure implementation meets specifications/requirements and customer expectations

Facilitate requirement gathering sessions by working with the customer/stakeholders to define and document customer requirements

  • that will be developed by the development team
  • Serve as primary contact with the Subject Matter Experts
  • Work with QA testers and developers to perform system testing to ensure application functionality works correctly. Testing may include both manual and automated testing efforts to include both regression and targeted testing of new software capabilities
  • Responsible for supporting the client through User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and any support for defect management during UAT process

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Active Secret Security Clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in requirements capture, management and analysis activities in all phases of the software development life cycle
  • 7+ years of experience in web application development projects
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical topics to management and non-technical audiences
  • Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to integrate information from multiple sources
  • Ability to work independently and interact regularly with government and non-government stakeholders at multiple levels of authority

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Agile Methodology
  • Experience with support tools such as JIRA
  • WordPress
