AI/ML Readiness-Technical Product Management, DAO

As part of the AIML Technology Engineering Management Team for the platform , you will be responsible for e ngaging with HP Data, Analytics & Operations (DAO) and business teams to understand their pain points, strategies, programs , and solution needs. You will help build and prioritize the AIML platform roadmap for maximum benefit across all HP business units. You will manage the use case backlog , prioritizing with respect to business impact & level of effort as well as shepherding use cases through the development stage . You will orchestrate the dynamics between our AIML H ub and B usiness S poke Teams to ensure strong collaboration to deliver on each use case's value and aligned with their acceptance criteria . You will be part of a team supporting hundreds of engineers, s pan-HP , and users . The successful candidate is a system think er that work s seamlessly across organizational boundaries , establishin g baselines of success that can be realized across a range of use cases.

Your Responsibilities:

Operating Model ( Backlog FunnelGating) : go no go decision - making

• Manage the Intake and Gating processes for all AIML use cases and solidify the stage definitions to clearly articulate ROI and business value to enable proper prioritization.
• Classif y and prioritize uses cases into mega vs. non-mega, considering business impact and level of effort , rationalizing items as quick wins, strategic investments, tactical , or do -not-pursue (DNP).
• Manage a funnel of 500-1,000 AI use cases end-to-end (Ideation to Scale & Monitor) by using Agile principles and practices across a variety of applications across the company from use case creation, to platform design, to model execution and delivery.

• Drive strong professional relationships with HP business and functional units spanning HP and at all levels of leadership.

AI governance: readiness monitoring

• Champion Responsible AI practices and standards like documentation, model fit mitigation, monitoring, exception-value testing, all sloped with respect to type and size of risk.
• Define Agile Stage gate acceptance criteria considering bias/variance trade-offs, ROI , internalvs. external-facing, and proper governance reviews such as Model Management , Data Privacy, and Cybersecurit y .
• Define and monitor platform performance including I/O, autoscaling, bandwidth utilization , throughput, latency, and others for the sake ofkeeping the environment in green state and avoiding system outages, and negative impacts on business , customers , or partners .
• Measure and monitor business value.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Outstanding communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
• Comfortable presenting to diverse audiences, including the scrum team, the program team, business solution teams, various affinity groups, and executive management across the organization.

• Solid knowledge of agile software development principles and business processes.
• Technical knowledge of cloud services , AIML applications , and platform development .
• Technical knowledge of data pipelines and descriptivepredictiveprescriptive analytics .
• Knowledge of digital product marketing principles and practices.
• Knowledge of HP businesses, strategies, and operating environments .

• Able to work under pressure in a complex environment .

Education and Experience:

• BA or BS in STEM discipline; MBA preferred.

• 10+ years of experience in software development, cloud infrastructure, business planning, and/or product marketing.
• Experience across multiple HP business units desired.
• AIML development, cloud infrastructure, and/or master data management experience preferred.
