Aircraft Painter (Aircraft Painting experience required)

The ideal candidate will have experience working as an Aircraft Painter in a MRO environment on commercial and/or regional aircraft. This is a long-term/permanent career opportunity - NOT a short term contract. Responsibilities • Prepare and Paint Commercial Planes and Regional Jet aircrafts in a MRO maintenance environment. • meticulously prepare metal and other surfaces for painting. This involves cleaning, sanding, masking (protecting areas not to be painted), and applying primers. • use various techniques, including spray guns, brushes, and rollers, to apply different types of paints, such as lacquers, primers, synthetic enamels, polyurethane, and epoxy. • adhering to all safety procedures and using the appropriate safety equipment. • follow task cards and comply with FAA regulations, ensuring placards are correct and the work meets all company and federal standards. • Painters handle and maintain tools and equipment, including spray guns and other painting tools, and may be responsible for inventory management of paint supplies. Requirements: • 3+ years of experience working as an Aircraft Painter in a MRO Maintenance Environment • Experience working as an Aircraft Painter working on Commercial Planes and/or Regional Jets • Experience applying external paint and coating on Commercial Planes and/or Regional Jets • Must be able to relocate to the Jacksonville, FL area prior to starting work (tax free per diem is offered to assist with relocation - see "Employment Details" below) • Must be able to pass a 10-year background check and a 10-panel FAA/DOT drug screen. • Must be able to work assigned work schedule (see "Employment Details" below) • Must be able to provide contact information for a past or present supervisor/lead/employer as a professional reference as part of the application process.
