Alcoholism Rehab Assistant

Education/Experience

Minimum Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred:

• Previous experience working in a chemical dependency program
• Recovering person with positive experience in AA, NA, ACOA, and/or Al‐Anon

Work Environment

• Work is performed in an office environment and patient care areas which require working in proximity to other employees and patients. Rooms are air conditioned and heated.
• Frequent walking, standing, bending and lifting.
• Fast paced environment with frequent interruptions.
• Exposure to equipment cleaning solutions and disinfectants.
• PPE (Eyewear, Masks, Face shields, Shoe covers, and Gloves) as required by UHS Hospitals Infection Control policies.

Age of Patients Served

• Early Adulthood: 18 to 45 Years
• Middle Adult: 46 to 59 Years
• Late Adult: 60 to 79 Years
• Elderly: 80+ Years
