Alterations Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Alterations & Customer Service Associate to join our team This role combines professional garment alterations with friendly, customer-focused service. You’ll help customers with drop-offs and pickups, manage tailoring needs, and ensure a smooth, high-quality experience Key Responsibilities: Alterations & Tailoring • Perform garment alterations including hemming, taking in/out seams, zippers, buttons, patches, and minor repairs • Measure and mark garments to ensure accurate alterations • Communicate with customers regarding their alteration preferences and timelines Customer Service • Greet and assist customers with a positive and professional attitude • Handle drop-off and pick-up transactions using point-of-sale (POS) system • Manage customer inquiries, special requests, and complaints efficiently • Tag and track incoming garments for dry cleaning and alterations • Ensure the store remains clean, organized, and welcoming Requirements: • Previous experience in alterations/tailoring required • Excellent sewing and garment repair skills • Strong customer service and communication abilities • Basic computer and POS system skills • Ability to stand for extended periods and handle physical tasks • Bilingual is a plus (not required) Benefits: • Flexible schedule • Employee discounts • Opportunity for growth and additional training Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: • Flexible schedule Work Location: In person
