Amada Brake Press Operator

Our client, a leader in precision metal fabrication, is seeking an Amada Brake Press Operator to join their team. As a Brake Press Operator, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting skilled operators and quality assurance teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title:Amada Brake Press Operator Location:San Jose, CA Pay Range:$25 - $35 Shift:1st, swing, and weekend shifts available What's the Job? • Perform basic machine setup and assist in maintaining quality and workflow. • Run proven setups and make minor tooling/controller changes to maintain tolerances. • Read and interpret blueprints, shop math, and basic “K” factors. • Utilize measurement tools such as dial calipers, squares, and protractors. • Collaborate with team members and support cross-functional tasks as needed. What's Needed? • Minimum 1 year of experience in a precision sheet metal environment. • 2-3 years of experience as a Brake Operator. • Ability to read and understand work instructions and blueprints. • Familiarity with third-angle projection and common print callouts. • Competent with measurement tools and basic arithmetic.
