Brown Brothers Harriman is currently recruiting an AML Compliance Special Projects Manager to join our AML Compliance team. The AML Compliance Special Projects Manager is responsible for ensuring that AML Compliance's activities follow the necessary rules and regulations by providing compliance support and expertise within established guidelines. The role is responsible for identifying and resolving problems in a timely fashion, while considering internal guidelines and outside regulatory requirements.

Specific responsibilities include executing special projects related to AML procedures, investigations, transaction monitoring surveillances, and exception reports. The Special Projects Analyst will be responsible for issue spotting, problem resolution, and escalating matters as needed. The position operates independently as a trusted advisor to BBH's business lines and is involved with the most complex aspects of the function.

Key Responsibilities include:

Use internal systems and logs to research, gather facts and make recommendations Procedures oversight and conduct periodic horizontal reviews Reconcile metrics across multiple platforms and workstreams Identify potential enhancements to processes and recommend solutions Track training schedule and prepare training materials for FIU Team and other audiences as needed Assess relevant regulatory advisories to determine impact to transaction monitoring process Assist manager with ad-hoc requests in a fast paced environment Assist with PIP deliverables such as implementation of escalation process to/from non-US offices Other ad-hoc assignments as needed to meet deadlines Oversee quality control process for transaction monitoring and investigations Organize and track user acceptance testing projects for Actimize tuning

Qualifications:

BA/BS Degree. Finance, Economics or Business degrees preferred Strong written and oral communication skills Strong organizational and analytical skills Capable of executing a range of complex tasks and analyses Ability to multi-task and attention to detail Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Working knowledge of securities markets Minimum 5 years' experience in AML or related field

Salary Range

$100,000 - $140,000

BBH's compensation program includes base salary, discretionary bonuses, and profit-sharing. The anticipated base salary range(s) shown above are only for the indicated location(s) and may differ in other locations due to cost of living and labor considerations. Base salaries may vary based on factors such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.
