AMS Developer (Finnish speakers)

Currently, we are looking for a Software Developer for our Application Management Services. The role is open to candidates in all of Nordcloud countries.

Your daily responsibilities:

• Leading a team of software developers and cloud engineers (including coaching, managing workload and priorities; excluding formal supervisor responsibilities)
• Service Reporting including but not limited to KPI and SLA with the help of project managers
• Attending to sales activities by defining offers, assessing potential customer solutions and pricing accordingly, in collaboration with Head of AMS and sales
• Developing and adopting delivery best practices
• Keeping customer and employee satisfaction at the highest levels
• Attending to activities in the whole lifecycle of services with AMS operations (code maintenance and development, knowledge sharing in the team, incident management, monitoring and observability tooling, onboarding and offboarding systems and customers, continuous improvement, documentation, business hours on-call schedules)

• Hands-on service delivery for L3 support work for production cloud applications
• Understanding customer requirements and providing solutions aligned with customer expectations and timeframe
• Engaging directly with customers in normal maintenance service, onboarding support, process definition and escalations
• Keeping customer satisfaction at the highest levels 
• Serving four or more customers simultaneously: organising and prioritising work yourself, with help of a squad lead and project manager
• Working in Agile environments

Role Requirements:

• Several years of experience in IT Service and Software Development
• Experience in leading a team
• Software development skills in TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, React, or Python
• Public Cloud experience (Azure, AWS or GCP)
• Experience in working multi-customer environment in IT-industry
• Experience in IT and Software Development operations
• Customer centric approach and experience in working directly with customers
• Excellent communication skills, fluent English and Finnish
• 'Get it done' attitude

Skills we'd consider a plus:

• Experience with software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, version control, infrastructure as code, deployment pipelines, testing, architecture and design
• Strong motivation, capabilities to learn new and ambition to grow to the next level
• Self-organised ways of working and self-leadership skills
• Experience in monitoring and troubleshooting

The successful candidate is expected to go through a security clearance.
