We have an opening for an Analyst, Cybersecurity.
The Analyst, Cybersecurity provides mid-level technical support for Identity and Access Management (IAM) operations. This role is responsible for handling complex access requests, resolving issues related to user access, and supporting the ongoing administration of IAM platforms such as Active Directory, Okta, and SailPoint. The ideal candidate will have experience in user lifecycle management, automation through scripting, and familiarity with identity governance tools.
In this capacity, the Analyst, Cybersecurity will:
IAM Operations Support
• Provide IAM Operations support for IAM platforms including Active Directory, Okta, SailPoint, and other access management systems and manual processes;
• Handle escalated provisioning and de-provisioning requests, including access changes and role modifications;
• Monitor and maintain user lifecycle processes such as onboarding, offboarding, and access transitions due to role changes; and
• Ensure adherence to least-privilege principles and internal access control policies.
Access Control and Compliance
• Assist in performing regular access reviews, entitlement validations, and user audits;
• Support role-based access control (RBAC) configurations and updates, especially within Okta and SailPoint; and
• Coordinate with compliance and security teams to support regulatory and internal audit requirements.
Automation and Scripting Support
• Maintain and update PowerShell scripts for repetitive IAM tasks (e.g., user provisioning, group management);
• Assist in the automation of IAM workflows in SailPoint and Okta to improve efficiency and reduce manual work; and
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing scripts used in daily IAM operations.
Incident Response and Troubleshooting
• Respond to and resolve IAM-related service requests and incidents, including account lockouts, permission issues, and access errors;
• Escalate complex issues as necessary and collaborate with engineering teams; and
• Document root cause analyses for recurring issues and suggest improvements to reduce incident frequency.
Collaboration and Knowledge Transfer
• Work closely with Service Desk, HR, IT Ops, and Security teams to ensure smooth access transitions during employee lifecycle events;
• Support IAM-related projects by contributing operational input and assisting with system rollouts or updates; and
• Provide guidance to Level 1 support and share knowledge on standard IAM practices.
Documentation and Reporting
• Maintain clear, updated documentation for IAM processes, operational runbooks, and escalation procedures;
• Assist in generating regular reports on access management activities and compliance metrics; and
• Help prepare documentation for audits and participate in audit response efforts as needed.
Proficiencies:
• Strong hands-on experience with Active Directory, Okta, and SailPoint;
• Understanding of SailPoint and Oka;
• Experience maintaining and troubleshooting PowerShell scripts for IAM tasks;
• Knowledge of access control models and information security best practices;
• Ability to diagnose and resolve moderately complex access issues effectively;
• Able to clearly document and communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical users; and
• Experience working within cross-functional teams and coordinating with stakeholders in security, IT, and business units.
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent (required); Associate or Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in IAM support or IT operations, with direct exposure to IAM tools such as Active Directory, Okta, and SailPoint;
• Familiarity with user provisioning, de-provisioning, RBAC, and entitlement management;
• Working experience with PowerShell for system administration or IAM-related automation tasks; and
• Certifications such as Okta Certified Administrator, SailPoint IdentityNow Engineer, or other relevant IAM/security certifications are a plus.

The actual salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. This role is exempt meaning it is not overtime pay eligible.
