Organization Overview:
Manufacturing and Quality - Information and Digital Solutions (MQ IDS), supports manufacturing operational excellence and productivity efforts through utilization of information and technology. MQ IDS strives to enable the making of medicine "with safety first and quality always".
Responsibilities:
This position in Indianapolis Parenteral Manufacturing (IPM) will partner with operations and other functional areas to identify opportunities for improvement and lead the implementation/support of the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) that supports IPM's mission of making medicine.

Responsibilities:
This position in Indianapolis Parenteral Manufacturing (IPM) will partner with operations and other functional areas to identify opportunities for improvement and lead the implementation/support of the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) that supports IPM's mission of making medicine.
Key Objectives/Deliverables:
- Partner with operations to identify opportunities for improvement in IDS systems as well as opportunities to leverage technology tools.
- Be a team player in day-to-day meetings and huddles.
- Use standardized processes to lead the requirement gathering, testing and validation of cycle of changes supporting the area.
- Work with Functional/Technical leader to design the best solution to fit the requirements.
- Build and maintain awareness and knowledge of regulatory, legal or quality requirements impacting the business area to ensure solution compliance.
- Manage workload to ensure correct delivery and prioritization
- Ensure usage of Computer System Validation processes/practices during the implementation of changes.
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science degree in IT, Engineering, Technology or related technical field.
Additional Skills/Preferences:
- Prior work experience in pharma or other GMP setting.
- Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
- Ability to analyze, anticipate and resolve complex issues (technical, operational or business-related).
- Knowledge of ISA95 model.
- Working knowledge on database querying (i.e SQL).
- Knowledge of computer system validation process.
- Strong personal skills including: effective communication, time management, self-driven, prioritization, problem-solving.
- Ability to evaluate, facilitate and drive towards risk-based decision making.
Additional Information:
- Shift information: Monday to Friday with some after-hours/weekend support.
