ANALYST III – COMMERCIAL FINANCE
THE ANALYST III – COMMERCIAL FINANCE WILL . . .
- Provides support to Global Commercial Group from a finance perspective.
- Provide support of Forecasts and Plans for the Commercial Team, both sales and Fixed Costs.
- Provide support for our Sales Compensations programs including calculations, review, and analysis.Â
- Participates in the monthly closing process for specialized Commercial calculations, such as scrap buyback and rebates.Â
- Partners with the Commercial Team to support our goals and maximize profits.Â
- Partner with cross functional teams to constantly improve our forecast accuracy.Â
- Provide support for quarterly reporting, review and analysis as needed.Â
- Utilize company data retrieval tools necessary to perform assignments.
- Provide support for internal and external auditors.
- Lead the continuous improvement of the accuracy and integrity of the related systems and databases as well as accounting processes. Identify and recommend necessary systems improvements and enhancements.
- Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS FOR ANALYST III – COMMERCIAL FINANCE
- Four-year college degree in accounting or finance required.Â
- Five or more years of accounting experience in an operations finance environment.Â
- Interprets internal/external business issues and recommends best practices in own function.
- Effectively manages projects or teams, including coordination of resources outside of own area.Â
- Forecasts and plans resource requirements for projects or teams. Â
- Monitors and controls costs for own work and may manage costs/budgets for large projects or areas.
- Advanced knowledge of accounting standards, practices, and procedures.
- Advanced knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley Act internal control requirements.
- Advanced knowledge of Hyperion Financial Reporting software.
- Solves complex problems; takes a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions.
- Ability to operate a computer workstation.
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks and make appropriate decisions.
- Ability to work under frequently changing priorities.
- Analytical skills.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
