People Team at Nutanix

The Analyst, People Analytics role would be a part of the People Analytics team at Nutanix. This team is responsible for understanding the employee experience across the employee life cycle and providing insights and data to leaders to help them make informed decisions about the company's people. They leverage multiple data sources, including HRIS, ATS, survey data, and other people program data, to measure and accelerate the employee experience. The team focuses on data-driven decision-making and uses data visualization tools and advanced data analysis techniques to uncover insights and trends. They work closely with HR leaders and business leaders across the organization to provide valuable insights and support.

Your Role

• Develop complex dashboards that leverage multiple data sources, taking client requirements and building visualization that allow them to quickly identify gaps, strengths, and trends.
• Support HR organization's data needs by looking for ways to automate data processes and streamline reporting
• Consult with HR leaders and business leaders across the organization, expertly leveraging data and insights to tell a compelling story and help leaders make data-driven decisions
• Analyze unstructured / structured disparate data sources, developing models to predict future actions (retention, quality of hires) and running statistical analysis to deliver actionable insights
• Provide ongoing client support, expertly translating client questions into data and insights
• Carefully handle sensitive employee data, ensuring necessary confidentiality and security
• Support enterprise employee listening program by building surveys and updating reporting within the survey tool, and providing ongoing project support, as needed.

What You Will Bring

• 2+ years experience in advanced data analysis and reporting
• 2+ years experience in SQL
• Strong expertise in Tableau or other data visualization tools
• Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally
• Ability to develop structured approaches to identify root causes
• Expertise in statistical and analytical tools (e.g., R, Python), and techniques (e.g., t-test, regressions, machine language learning) desirable
• MS or MBA in math or science field desirable

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between

USD $79,680 and USD $160,560 per year.

However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
