The Role:
Here at Digible we are building the future of Digital Marketing for the Multifamily industry. We are building a set of technologies, named Fiona, which helps marketers become more efficient at Digital Marketing through the use of cutting-edge technologies, programming, the cloud, and Artificial Intelligence.
The role will be part of Data & Analytics (DNA). The DNA department manages the collection, integration, transformation, storage of data, and analytics and data science for our Agency and SAAS product, Fiona. The Analytics Engineer will collaborate with DNA’s Data Scientist and Business Intelligence Analyst to understand and gather data modeling requirements and coordinate with Data Engineers to meet the requirements. Additionally, the Analytics Engineer will create reusable data assets in a semantic business layer ready for Business Intelligence and model features.

What you’ll do:
- Work with the business, Business Intelligence Analyst, and Data Scientist to gather requirements to develop transformations and tables needed for reporting and model features
- Design & plan the architecture for semantic layer utilizing a fact/dimension based data model to unify data to support the wider business
- Build data models and transformations required for model features in product applications
- Develop transformation in dbt utilizing SQL & YAML to generate the necessary tables and schemas in Snowflake
- Build appropriate rule based KPI alerting to be used in Business Intelligence & broadcasting across slack, email, etc.
- Setup tests in dbt, and monitor and resolve bugs
- Apply software engineering best practices for deployment and version control
- Manage Data Warehouse users and security
- Enable data governance and democratization by building & maintaining a data dictionary, lineage, and data quality monitoring/reporting
- Assist Business Intelligence Analyst with developing reports and dashboards
You should have:
- Advanced SQL experience and database design with an emphasis on BI and Data Science with 3+ years of experience
- 1+ year utilizing dbt in a modern data stack
- Strong understanding of advertising API’s, data structure, and derived metrics, e.g. Google Analytics/GA4, Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc.Â
- Intermediate to advanced object-oriented programmer with 3+ years of Python experience
- Capable of working with big data sets from design to execution including structured and unstructured text
- Able to demonstrate advanced computer and analytical skills with particular knowledge and understanding of the following storage, computing, and business intelligence tools:
- Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or equivalent cloud-based OLAP/OLTP environments
- Dbt
- Quicksight (preferred),Tableau, Looker, Sisense, or Power BI
- Experience with tools for data reliability, data quality, alerts (Great Expectations, Monte Carlo, Atlan, or similar)
- Experience with Airflow, Prefect, AWS Glue, or similar tools for workflow orchestration
- Knowledge and working experience with Software Engineering development and deployment practices, CI/CD, Cron, and Docker
- Sprint, Scrum, and/or Kanban experience with comfort level to work in iterative product driven cycles

Pay, Perks and Such:
- Annual Salary of $85,000 - $115,000
