Your Role and Responsibilities
As an Android Developer you’ll participate in many aspects of the software development lifecycle such as design code implementation testing and support. You will create software that enables your clients’ hybrid-cloud and AI journeys.
You’ll have the opportunity to work with the latest technologies ensuring the applications delivered are high performing highly available responsive and maintainable.
Your primary responsibilities include:

• design develop and support mobile application solutions.
• design develop and/or re-engineer highly complex mobile applications for Android Platform
• build and use plug-ins and libraries for Android native and non-native; for integrating software packages back-end components and REST services.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
In order to act as a mobile Android developer we are looking for candidates with the following background and skills:

• at least 2 years of experience as Android developer
• Skill in developing mobile applications with Java and/or Kotlin
• Development tools as Android SDK Android Studio
• Performing unit testing
• Competencies about Design Guidelines and Networking
• Understanding of JSON and XML
• Robust competencies about REST services and OpenAPI specification
• Usage of Swagger Postman and similar tools
• Intermediate knowledge of English language
• Good interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
In particular are very appreciated:

• Competencies in UI/UX design
• Ability to publish apps in public and private app stores.
• Experience working in an Agile software development environment.

Availability to travel is an additional mandatory prerequisite.
