Job Description
Total annual compensation starts at 550K plus retirement and CME funds.
Relocation Stipend available.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Physician will attend to the needs of all patients within the scope of licensing, training and credentialing. Attend to the medical needs of all patients by performing patient care activities to fulfill the duties and responsibilities of a Physician and assist in generating adequate practice volume. The Physician will participate in on-call duties and actively participate in meetings and committees. Practice medicine within the current scope of national patient safety goals.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must possess a Doctor of Medicine Degree (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree (D.O.). Must hold a valid and unrestricted medical license to practice medicine in the State of Georgia. Board Eligible or Board Certified preferred. Hold a valid DEA certificate without restriction. Experience in outpatient medical practice preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills required. Must be computer literate.
Opportunity Details/Requirements:
Physician will cover Emory Hillandale Hospital in addition to several ambulatory surgery centers.
Case mix includes general OR, Ortho, Rad/GI, Eyes, Podiatry, Urology, Minor Vascular, Breast, and Gyn. (No Hearts, OB or Trauma).
Robust and collaborative care team model provides exceptional resources and peer support.
Medical Direction: 1:3, (rare 1:4).
Call duties are from home every 6th night on average. One weekend per month max.
Proficiency in Regional Anesthesia is a plus.
Candidates must possess an MD, DO, or foreign equivalent. Candidates must also be eligible to apply for a medical license in the state of Georgia and be American Board of Anesthesiology board-certified or board eligible.
BLS/ACLS/PALS Certifications required.
