Our company is seeking an Angular Developer who has the technical ability to implement user interfaces using JavaScript and the Angular framework. You will need to know the best practices and modern ways of creating interfaces and ensure the interface is able to interact with backend APIs. You will also need to have great communication and collaboration skills as you will need to interact with fellow frontend and backend developers regularly to ensure components can be integrated together.
Angular developer with the ability to work on internally developing market settlement and optimization solutions for our Distributed Energy Management Environment and our Online Account Management platform. Qualified candidates must have4-5 years of experience development experience, including a strong applications developmentbackground and the ability to apply these skillswith assistance from a lead developer and/or IT Manager in an Agile development environment. The role encompasses both project, production support, testing, and QA tasks as requested by the lead developer.
Wholesale and Retail Energy experience would be a plus .
As an Angular Developer at NRG, you will:
- Work with other team members.
- Design and implement visually aesthetic user interfaces.
- Identify issues with front end code and rectify them to remove bugs.
- Create unit tests to ensure code is functioning as expected.
- Create well written documentation.
- Ensure front end code is able to query APIs.
- Audit code to identify bottlenecks of performance and issue resolution.
- The ability to problem-solve.
- High level of knowledge around the Angular framework and JavaScript.
- E xtensive knowledge of Data structures, data connectivity and API's.
- High level knowledge of front end interfaces.
- Fundamental knowledge of UX/UI.
- Good interpersonal skills
- Agile working environment
Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 to 8 years technical experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or relevant business discipline from an accredited four-year college or university or equivalent work experience.

Compensation
The salary range for this role is $118,000 - $171,000. Pay is based on several factors, including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
