Angular Frontend Engineer

The Opportunity

Hitachi Energy, High Voltage Products is implementing Digital solutions like Digital Passport System (DPS) & Digital Factory to become its global solution for global traceability, from suppliers to end-customers. DPS is a cloud-based platform that attaches unique digital identity and critical quality information to each of our products and allows immediate end-to-end identification and location of affected units if quality issues were detected.

We are looking for an experienced Angular Frontend Engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for developing high-quality web applications using Angular and other modern web technologies. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the frontend of our web applications, ensuring that they are fast, responsive, and user-friendly.

How you will make an impact

• Design and develop dynamic, responsive web applications using Angular.
• Leverage a human-centered design process to deliver an easy-to-use user interface and user experience.
• Strong experience in Angular framework(14 and above), Bootstrap 4, CSS3, HTML5 and javascript.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI designers and backend developers, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Create reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
• Optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability.
• Integrate front-end components with server-side logic using RESTful APIs.
• Translate design wireframes and mockups into polished, interactive user interfaces.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences.
• Facilitate the client's product vision by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping and user-testing experiences for digital products.
• Search and correction of UI errors
• Ability to write code that will be compatible with different browsers.
• Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in web development, particularly within the Angular ecosystem

Your background

• Degree of Software Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent, with overall experience of 6-8 years.
• Proven experience as an Angular Senior Developer
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript and relevant web technologies.
• Proficient with design tools such as Axure, Figma, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and integrating front-end applications with backend services.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and release management.
• Solid understanding of web standards and cross-browser compatibility.
