Job Description
Position Overview
The AP Specialist will be responsible for processing of high volume of invoices, credit memos and check requests in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner. This position will work with different departments and all Aveanna locations nationwide.
Essential Job Functions
Timely processing of supplier invoices through AP Automation and check requests via JIRA ticketing system with correct codes conforming to standard procedures to ensure proper entry into Workday.
Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and prior approval as required.
Daily Review of invoices in draft and work cost center managers to resolve any discrepancies.
Adhere to SOX 404 procedures as outlined for Accounts Payable.
Process consolidated billing via excel spreadsheet and upload EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder) into Workday.
Process/Match Purchase order to invoices and investigates and resolves problems associated with processing of invoices and purchase orders.
Work with the IT department to ensure accurate coding of IT invoices before processing.
Communicate with the accounting department to resolve accounting questions pertaining to invoices.
Effective communication with Location Directors, Area VP's, Corporate employees, department heads and Executives.
Other duties as assigned by AP Supervisor and Director of Purchasing and Accounts Payable.
Requirements
Must have at least three (3) years of Accounts Payable
Associate Degree or equivalent work experience
Experience utilizing ERP systems for Accounts Payable
Experience with high volume Accounts Payable
Experience with processing expense reports.
