They need to be adept in leveraging Cloud technologies, MicroServices architecture, and best practices in API management to deliver robust and scalable solutions. Demonstrates a proven track record of LEADING cross-functional teams and collaborating with stakeholders to drive technical innovation and achieve business objectives. Should have a working knowledge of Managed File Transfers (MFT). Daily Tasks Performed • Meet with application teams to understand requirements and recommend high-level direction and approach to upcoming projects. • Design the integration of application with various front end and backend applications while enforcing enterprise level webservice standards like Authentication ,securing PII data, controlling Data transmission between different integration points. • Develop and maintained web services to support business operations and third-party integrations. • Play a key role in the migration of legacy systems to cloud-based solutions on AWS. • Architect MicroServices-based systems on AWS, enhancing system flexibility and performance. • Manage API lifecycle providing centralized control over API traffic, security, and analytics. • Attend ARB meetings to understand the new project requirements, as related to API and Integration design, build and implementation solutions. • Implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline the deployment process and reduce time-to-market. Implemented API security protocols, including OAuth 2.0 and JWT, to safeguard sensitive data. • Design and implement a cloud-based MFT solution on AWS, enabling secure and scalable file transfers for a global e-commerce platform. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: • Establish best practices for API and integration development, including governance, versioning, documentation, and testing. • Manage the API lifecycle using Apigee, optimizing performance and reliability. • Provide technical leadership in the transition to a MicroServices architecture, reducing system complexity and improving maintainability. • Develop and maintained web services to support business operations and third-party integrations. • Play a key role in the migration of legacy systems to cloud-based solutions on AWS. • Enhance application performance through efficient API design and optimization techniques. • Improve data accuracy and reduce transaction processing time through optimized integration workflows. • Integrate the MFT solution with existing ERP and CRM systems, streamlining data exchange and improving operational efficiency. TOP SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE: ** MUST have solid experience with designing a cloud solutions across the enterprise, understands how data integrates between systems ** MUST have experience with AWS Cloud Integrations ** MUST have experience with API related MFT knowledge is a nice to have ** MUST have experience designing and suggesting integrations between systems • Proficient in AWS Cloud Technologies – Hands-on experience with key AWS services including EC2, CloudWatch, Splunk integration, AWS Transfer Family, and Kafka. Strong understanding of general cloud architecture and operational best practices. • Integration Architecture & Governance – Provide architectural oversight and establish governance frameworks to ensure adherence to enterprise Integration Standards and best practices across multiple projects. • API Security Protocols – Deep understanding and practical application of modern API security mechanisms including OAuth 2.0, JWT (JSON Web Tokens), and SSL/TLS to secure data in transit and ensure compliance. • Comprehensive API Lifecycle Management – Manage the full lifecycle of APIs including design, deployment, monitoring, and retirement. Ensure centralized control over API traffic, enforce security policies, and provide actionable analytics. REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE **Candiate must be able to interview in-person for 2nd interview.** Must be able Architect role is responsible for requirement and come up with integration solutions for communications, this is not development, but to architect the solution (Must have exp with Integrations). • 5+ years of designing, developing, and implementing API solutions across various industries. • 2+ years of experience working on large scale projects. • Adept at leveraging Cloud technologies, MicroServices architecture, and best practices in API management to deliver robust and scalable solutions. • Possess knowledge of cloud computing concepts. • Must have a experience leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with stakeholders to drive technical innovation and achieve business objectives. • Skilled in leveraging industry-leading MF platforms to enhance data security, compliance, and operational efficiency. Other Job-Specific Skill: • Strong technical knowledge of various API related to technologies (Data Power, Rest API, ACE IBM Cloudpak, Kafka etc.) their administration, architecture/design, analysis and management. • Extensive application support experience working with application teams. • High-level understanding of IT infrastructure planning and development. • Excellent understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives. • In-depth knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws. • Good understanding of Project Management skills.
