Application Architect

Introduction
As an IBM Application Architect you directly help clients transform their business  and solve complex problems. You will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of IBM platforms.  You are a technical leader serving as a liaison among business partners technical resources and project stakeholders.

Your Role and Responsibilities

• The need to constantly respond to changes in financial and banking law adapting the system to financial reporting (variable reporting methods during subsequent periods in subsequent years) immediate response to changes in banking laws e.g. “credit holidays” settlements
• Assistance in maintaining the continuity of operation of the Profile IT system operating in the production environment;
• Diagnosing problems with production applications working in a complex IT environment in order to detect the source and nature of problems and participating in solving them also through coordination and cooperation with internal and external partners;
• Participation in projects aimed at introducing changes to administered systems or introducing new solutions and technologies;
• Implementation of new solutions in the production environment along with documentation of these changes compilation and configuration of test environments for testing new versions of the application;

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Extensive knowledge of central banking systems knowledge of financial and banking business processes experience in the construction of banking software knowledge of bank audits
  • Assistance in maintaining the continuity of operation of the Profile IT system operating in the production environment;
  • Diagnosing problems with production applications working in a complex IT environment in order to detect the source and nature of problems and participating in solving them also through coordination and cooperation with internal and external partners;

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• skill and experience in programming in DCL (VMS system language) and M language (GT.M is a high-throughput key–value database engine optimized for transaction processing. (It is a type also referred to as “schema-less” “schema-free” or “NoSQL”.) GT.M is also an application development platform and a compiler for the ISO standard M language also known as MUMPS.) developing profile system (a back-end system that processes banking transactions across the various branches of a bank.) administration profile system (core banking)
