The Application Developer is responsible for designing developing testing and implementing Maximo applications that support Federal client enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop robust Maximo-based software solutions tailored to Federal enterprise needs.
- Conduct multidisciplinary research and collaborate with engineers and analysts to ensure technical alignment.
- Lead the development of algorithms database structures and system integration strategies.
- Oversee development teams ensuring software quality risk mitigation and adherence to project timelines.
- Apply scientific analysis and modeling techniques to optimize system performance and meet user requirements within defined time and cost constraints.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in software engineering and enterprise application development
- Minimum of 5 years as a technical/functional resource for IBM Maximo EAM including configuration and support of Maximo 9.x
- Hands-on experience with Maximo tools such as Migration Manager Workflow Designer Application Designer and Database Configuration
- Minimum of 5 years of programming experience with Java and Python
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal security clearance with the US government
- 5+ years of experience with cloud environments such as AWS or IBM Cloud
- Background in software development planning algorithm design and database architecture
- Experience with scientific modeling and system performance prediction
- Proven ability to serve as a task lead or technical liaison
- Experience working in federal agency environments
- Familiarity with Federal enterprise architecture and compliance standards
- Certified IBM Maximo Deployment Professional
