Your Role and Responsibilities

BA/Application Developer

Job Responsibilities:

Portfolio Management & Analytics Division

Sitting within Reserve Management department the front office Application Developer cum business analyst / product owner is responsible for managing the applications and processes used for portfolio management and trading of assets managed in-house.

Work closely with portfolio management and trading functions to understand their business requirements translating business-to-technical requirements and vice versa
Design build/enhance test implement and document processes/tools/systems in partnership with IT middle and back offices as well as software vendors to support front office workflow
Plan and work with department and Client partners on implementing road map of front-office workflow feature development / upgrades
Ensure front office processes and procedures meet internal standards for data integrity security and auditability
Monitor analyse and troubleshoot front office processes to ensure their smooth functioning.
Manage project implementations with vendors covering procurement and related administrative issues;
Oversee change management to facilitate the users to product adoption and new ways of working.

What we are looking for

An undergraduate degree in business-related or IT-related fields
Preferably 3-10 years relevant working experience including product management/ownership or system used in similar functions preferably in investment or financial domain
Strong sense of ownership and growth mindset
Strong analytical skills and critical thinking with good problem-solving skills
Good understanding of user-centric principles and/or service design
Adept communicator (both written and verbal) with the ability to effectively convey complex information to stakeholders across all levels
Experience working in cross-functional groups representing views of different stakeholders and influencing teams towards achieving shared goal
