In this role you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers) where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
As a Software Developer you'll participate in many aspects of the software development lifecycle such as design code implementation testing and support. You will create software that enables your clients' hybrid-cloud and AI journeys.
Your primary responsibilities include:
- Develops supports and maintains applications using open source development platforms such as C C++ Perl Python Node JS Djanngo.
- Utilizes expertise in open source technologies to analyze and resolve issues and collaborates with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions.
- Provides technical guidance and support to clients on open source platform implementation customization and integration.
- Design develop and maintain shell scripts for automation of routine tasks and system processes.
- Proficiency in Unix/Linux shell scripting (Bash KornShell etc.).
- Strong understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems and command-line utilities.
- Amenable to work onsite in Cebu.
- Open to work on a client dictated shift (day mid night)
JLPT N3 or higher or equivalent Japanese language proficiency is preferred but not required. English-speaking candidates are also welcome to apply.
