Application Development Manager

We are seeking an experiencedApplication Development Managerwho thrives in a dual role combining hands-on software development with cross-team leadership. This position offers a 50/50 split between writing production code and managing development initiatives across multiple teams. The ideal candidate will be equally passionate about crafting high-quality software solutions and building strong teams by mentoring developers to achieve their full potential and ensuring the right makeup of the team. Roles and Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using ASP.NET Core, C#, Angular, and SQL Server following best practices • Establish technical standards, create proof-of-concepts, and build reference implementations for team adoption • Participate in code reviews and troubleshoot complex issues across modern and legacy systems • Collaborate on architectural decisions and technical roadmap planning across the organization • Manages multiple projects at once; plan, arrange, organize and projects, and communicate status to internal and external stakeholders. • Manages and drives improvements including technical assessments, roadmap development, migration strategies, and refactoring initiatives • Leverage industry trends to proactively identify issues and opportunities to implement improvements • Supervises employees to ensure they follow the company’s policies and practices, including; counseling, time approval, performance management, etc. • Maintains appropriate staffing levels by following company’s talent acquisition processes and interviewing/hiring practices • Responsible for meeting ISO 9001 and/or other quality system requirements in their department • Other duties as assigned Skills, Education and Training • Bachelor’s Degree in related field required, Master’s degree preferred • 6 or more years experience in a related field • 5 or more years management / supervisory experience • Expert-level proficiency in C# and ASP.NET Core (Web API, MVC) • Strong experience with Angular (version 12+) and modern JavaScript/TypeScript • Solid understanding of SQL Server, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and Azure services • Strong Agile/Scrum experience in multi-team environments • Azure DevOps CI/CD and Azure Service Bus experience preferred • PostgreSQL knowledge and database migration experience preferred • Infrastructure as Code familiarity (ARM templates, Terraform, Helm) preferred • Security best practices and OWASP principles preferred • Management certifications (PMP, Scrum Master) preferred • Organizational change management and digital transformation leadership experience preferred • Proficient English abilities required • Email and written messaging with intermediate Excel knowledge • Excellent time-management skills CSAT Solutions LP is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, national origin, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, protected veteran status, disability, age or other legally protected status. #hireCSAT
