Are you a tech enthusiast ready to take on the challenge of managing and optimizing a diverse range of business and technical software applications? We are seeking a highly skilled Application Administrator to join our team. As an Application Administrator, you will be at the forefront of installing, configuring, application upgrades, maintenance, performance tuning and application troubleshooting of our enterprise solutions. You will work closely together with our IT infrastructure teams. Your Tasks/Responsibilities:

• Install and roll out various business and technical software applications, including ERP systems, PDM & DMS software, planning software, CAD software, and more.
• Ensure the timely installation of updates and conduct routine maintenance to guarantee optimal performance of software applications.
• Address security concerns, implement patches, and mitigate potential vulnerabilities together with our Infrastructure and business teams
• Provide valuable suggestions and make informed decisions about system setup and the establishment of efficient data exchange processes between different systems.
• Define and enforce standards for system setup to maintain consistency and efficiency across the different solutions.
• Work closely with business teams and software partners, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
• Resolve helpdesk tickets and user problems, especially in 2nd and 3rd-level support, ensuring a smooth user experience.

Qualifikationen

What you should bring with you

• Very good knowledge of SQL, particularly in the context of MS SQL Server.
• Proficiency in PowerShell or other tools for the automation, configuration, and management of systems.
• Good skills of English (written and spoken). Base knowledge of German, knowledge of Czech, or Turkish is advantageous.
• Prior experience with agile project methods and tools such as Azure DevOps and Git is beneficial.
• Experience with Cloud Providers, especially Azure and IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) is a plus.
• Experience in Windows Server Administration, Active Directory, group policies, operating Terminal Server technologies, good knowledge about different Hyper Visors and knowledge about Container Systems like Docker is advantageous.
• Demonstrate openness, strong teamwork, and a high level of service orientation to collaborate effectively within the team and across departments.
• Exhibit stress resistance to thrive in a dynamic environment and meet deadlines without compromising on quality.

The salary offered for this position is in line with the market and is based on specific qualifications and appropriate professional experience. We are legally obliged to state a minimum salary. The minimum annual gross salary for this position is EUR 42,950 according to the collective agreement (wood processing industry). An overpayment in line with the market is a matter of course, depending on qualifications and professional experience.
