Applications Architect

We are looking for an experienced Applications Architect to lead the design and development of innovative features for a clinical trial management platform. This role involves overseeing the end-to-end technical implementation of database solutions, business layers, and user interfaces while ensuring optimal performance and scalability. This is a long-term contract position based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, offering the opportunity to make a significant impact in the business services industry. Responsibilities: • Design and implement new features for a clinical trial management application, focusing on database solutions, business logic, and user interfaces. • Oversee live application support, resolving issues and ensuring seamless operation. • Collaborate with team members to define a strategic roadmap for the platform, incorporating advanced technologies such as AI. • Write high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code that adheres to best practices. • Review code written by team members, providing constructive feedback and suggesting improvements. • Optimize application performance for speed, scalability, and adaptability across future projects. • Lead the creation and maintenance of comprehensive technical documentation for the application. • Ensure adherence to architectural standards and provide guidance to development teams on best practices. • Drive innovation by exploring new tools and methodologies to enhance application functionality. • Proficiency in ASP.NET and .NET development frameworks. • Extensive experience in designing application architectures and implementing scalable solutions. • Strong knowledge of API development and integration. • Familiarity with Azure Data Factory and cloud-based database systems. • Hands-on experience with Angular for developing user interfaces. • Expertise in utilizing AWS technologies for application deployment and management. • Proven track record of optimizing applications for performance and scalability. • Strong ability to lead technical teams and provide mentorship.Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do. ® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
