Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth we’re looking to add a/an Submittal Design Engineer location to be remote but preferably Fontana CA.

Reporting to the Technical Sales Manager - Modular the Submittal Design Engineer role involves creating Mechanical Layout designs for Pre-fabrication modular solutions whilst supporting pre-sale documentation and Technical submittals this role ensures drawings issued for Submittal are controlled accurate and easy to follow.

What a typical day looks like:

• Provide assistance to Technical Sales Manager and PMDC team to achieve strong pre-sale design submittals and technical submittals.

• Liaising with Sales team and the Electrical and Mechanical Design Managers in Fontana CA and Dallas TX on the development of the library of standard drawings and technical submittals for industry standardization.

• Ensuring drawings issued for Submittal are aligned accurate and easy to follow against customer requirements detailing the expectation from Technical Sales.

• Collaborating with sales marketing and product teams to develop product brochures and sales literature.

• Reporting directly to the Technical Sales Manager.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Preferred qualifications include an Electrical/Mechanical Engineer degree or equivalent experience.

• Proficient in 2D & 3D design software specifically AutoCAD and SolidWorks.

• Knowledgeable about electrical engineering concepts and electrical power distribution products.

• Highly detail-oriented enthusiastic and conscientious in work habits.

• Able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced pressurized environment with demonstrated flexibility.

• Strong interpersonal communication writing and presentation skills.

• Confidently manages multiple objectives under pressure while maintaining organization.

• Exhibits a strong work ethic with a commitment to confidentiality and a practical approach to tasks whether collaborating in a team or working independently.

Pay Range (Applicable to California)

$74800.00 USD - $102900.00 USD Annual
