Now in its second generation of leadership, we are a small but highly experienced team focused on delivering complex, high-end residential projects with care and precision. Most of our team has been with us for decades, and our culture is built on pride in craftsmanship, flexibility, and long-standing trust. We work within a tight 20-mile radius of Clinton, WA, and are currently scaling up for a strong project pipeline through 2026 and beyond.

As anApprentice Carpenter, you will work directly with skilled carpenters and site supervisors on the construction of custom homes. You will assist in framing, finish work, jobsite preparation, cleanup, and other carpentry tasks. This is a hands-on learning opportunity where you'll develop your skills while contributing to real projects. The right candidate is reliable, coachable, and wants to grow into a long-term career in residential construction.
Key Responsibilities
• Support framing, finish, and general carpentry tasks
• Assist with jobsite setup, material handling, and cleanup
• Learn to safely use tools and follow construction plans
• Follow all safety guidelines and report any hazards
• Maintain a clean, respectful, and productive jobsite
• Communicate openly with supervisors and crew members
• Be willing to ask questions, learn, and take initiative
Qualifications
• Interest in residential construction and a strong work ethic
• Basic hand tool knowledge is helpful but not required
• Willingness to follow instructions and accept feedback
• Must be reliable and show up consistently
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Valid driver's license and an insurable driving record
• Ability to reliably commute to job sites on Whidbey Island. Typical commute radius is within 50 miles of Clinton, WA
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Compensation and Benefits
• Full time position
• Competitive hourly pay starting at $21 to $26, depending on your experience and skills
• Paid sick leave, earned at one hour for every 40 hours worked (as required by WA law)
