Job Summary: Greenwood Heating and Home Services is looking for Apprentice Plumbers to join our team! We are looking for someone who believes in taking care of customers and fellow employees. We are looking for a driven and open minded individual who can support our plumbing team and continue to learn and grow in the trade. Wage / Hours: This position is a full-time, non-exempt, hourly position. Our business hours are 7am-6pm. Our plumber schedules vary based on workload. Working hours may exceed 8 hours a day and may exceed 40 hours per week during busier times of the year. Compensation plan can be discussed during interview, but starting pay is $23-$28 per hour depending on experience. Location: This position is performed on the road in the greater Seattle area. Our service range is: North: Everett Area, South: Federal Way Area, East: North Bend. We have two locations, one in Everett and one in Tukwila. Both roles are available for both locations. Job Duties / Responsibilities: · Work with office staff to pick up correct material and equipment from one of our shops to match what was purchased by customer. Install hot water tanks, tankless water heaters, boiler systems, and provide plumbing services. · Engage in client discussions professionally and politely to uncover their needs and works with their team leaders to address issues if beyond knowledge base. -Maintain an active plumbing trainee license through the state of WA. Job Requirements / Skills: · Understanding and follow through in Greenwood’s Core Values and Mission Statement. · Confident and professional communication skills via phone and face to face interaction with homeowners and team members. · Experience with and able to navigate mobile devices (Apple products) with the ability to learn new software. · Attention to detail when debriefing office or homeowner about your findings in the field. · Service oriented and ability to interact with all customer service scenarios (positive and negative). Ability to empathize and work through challenging problem-solving situations. Education and Experience: · High school diploma or equivalent preferred. · Plumbing experience preferred. Physical Requirements: · Must be able to lift 50 lbs. · Must be able to be on your feet / knees for extended periods of time. · Must be able to work in crawl spaces and attics for periods of time. -Must be able to work on ladders and drive a company vehicle.
