As a Field Marketing Manager you will be responsible for planning developing and executing marketing initiatives to generate new business opportunities for enterprise customers interested in Apptio’s solutions.
We are seeking a highly driven marketer who is eager to grow and collaborate closely with our marketing and sales teams to accelerate customer acquisition in the Japanese market.
The ideal candidate thrives in a team-oriented and collaborative environment demonstrates strong ownership toward achieving measurable goals and has hands-on experience across the full spectrum of marketing activities. You should have a proven track record as a marketer excellent time-management skills and the ability to coordinate and execute campaigns with multiple internal stakeholders.

Lead PR initiatives in collaboration with PR agencies and drive AR activities including the publication of research reports.

Develop localize and refine product messaging for the Japan market based on global guidelines.

Report on direct mail performance against campaign objectives and quarterly channel targets.

Support the planning and execution of event-based lead generation programs.

Plan coordinate and execute events for the Apptio user community.

Plan manage and execute all event-related logistics.

Attend trade shows and external events as needed.

Manage the production printing and shipment of sales and event promotional materials.

Create customer case study content in collaboration with internal teams.

Track and manage marketing program activities budgets and invoices using Salesforce Smartsheet and marketing automation tools.
– 3+ years of B2B project and marketing event management experience preferably in the foreign IT/software industry
– Experience with Salesforce.com ability to create custom reports or aptitude to learn new software quickly
– Attention to detail and ability to prioritize and organize
– Ability to communicate clearly and directly
– Analytical skills exceptional team player ability to coordinate across groups
– Ability to be self-motivated and proactive
