Area Manager

Axiom Armored Transport operates along the western United States. We service National Financial Institutions, Regional Banks, Credit Unions, local banks as well as retail customers. A candidate must be a proven leader in the Cash in Transit (CIT) industry. They must provide exceptional customer service and have a love of people and be able to work with a variety of different personalities. The person in this position must have a “How can I help you” attitude, be friendly and genuinely interested in the business agenda, needs of others including the company, its management, and our customers. In a fast-paced environment with multiple projects going simultaneously, adherence to established guidelines and procedures is important. A person must be willing to jump in and roll up his/her sleeves to help when necessary. This position is based in Kent, WA and works closely with local CIT and CVS branch operations to ensure the efficient and proper functioning of all related services. Periodic travel required which may include weekend and evenings. Essential Functions: • Oversee the daily needs of the routes and day-to-day operations with the assigned area; safe, timely and secure transport of customer valuables/cargo. • Support local managers in their assigned Branch • Travel and some weekend work will be required to support other operation sites within your district. • Engage in selection of new hires, ensure proper training, performance evaluations and discipline. • Strong leadership and control over multiple projects simultaneously • Actively pursue strategic and operational objectives. • Help develop and maintain a fiscal budget. Qualified Candidates must be: • Computer literate to include competency in use of Microsoft Office Suite, including but not limited to Power Point and Excel as well as and smart phone applications relating to the industry. • Problem-solver utilizing ability to analyze, troubleshoot, arrive at solutions. • Effective Communicator, able to deliver information successfully through both written and verbal communication. • Knowledgeable in application of Company policies and procedures and leading teams. • Proficient in ATM servicing of no less than 1 year of active daily service. • Previous experience in Operations Management (3 years). Job Requirements: • Must successfully pass an extensive pre-employment background check and drug screen including Marijuana. • Able to obtain and maintain an active guard and firearm permits as required by state regulations. • Possess a valid driver license with No Suspensions or DUI’s. A CDL license is NOT required. • Must successfully pass a DOT physical and maintain a DOT medical card. • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age or older per DOT regulations. Axiom Armored Offers:Pay will be salary, beginning in the $90,000’s based on experience. Axiom Armored offers Semi-Monthly pay period.
