Janitorial Area Manager
Shift 5:00pm-1:30am
Bilingual required
The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure that day-to-day functions following the specific cleaning specifications of the customers in advancing the goals of the organization. Walk through their facilities to inspect the progress of all projects first-hand. Meet with cleaners on a weekly schedule or as needed.
Qualifications
3-5 years of facilities cleaning of all areas of offices, hospitals, and other buildings as needed, know how to use the tools and equipment needed for the job, such as carpet cleaners, floor polishers, steam cleaners and understand the cleaning chemicals needed to do the job. Need to know the proper way to clean and dispose of biological waste, and must ensure that workers use the proper protective gear when cleaning potentially hazardous areas. You must be an effective communicator who can explain tasks to staff, have good time-management skills and able to prioritize tasks in a logical manner. Must be physically able to perform any cleaning chore they might need to be handled when assisting or training staff and following strict customer job specifications. Must be able to train in all areas of Safety to ensure that all employees are trained on a continuous basis. Must be able to work as needed night shift, weekends to meet customer satisfaction. Must be able to work on a computer/cell phone. Must be able to speak and read and write English to effectively communicate to Management staff. Bi-lingual is a plus.
Must have dependable transportation to commute to the Corporate office in Scottsdale .
Must have a clean driving record and pass background check.
Job Responsibilities
• Manage and oversee a team cleaners at various onsite client locations.
• Evaluate, coordinate, and assign cleaning tasks to team members based on need and skill level.
• Inspect all work performed to ensure it meets company standards and client expectations.
• Act as primary onsite point-of-contact for cleaning team for any questions, concerns, or disputes they may have.
• Promptly respond to any customer inquiries and take action as soon as possible.
• Ensure proper inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Training of new employees.
• Ensure efficiency of work team and make adjustments as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
