Role & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for growth of Lab Consumables business by effectively managing team and developing Customer and Channel Partner relationships and thus increase sales from the customers.
  • Works closely with Customer Service /Product team/ Supply chain Team to ensure problem resolution.
  • Responsible for preparation of Sales Forecasts. Follows up on leads received from other areas/divisions of the organization.
  • Meet AOP numbers and achieves annual sales and gross margin targets.
  • Identify new key Customers. Participates in scientific events such as CMEs and build Key Opinion Leaders.
  • Prioritize regular reviews with Customer & Channel Partner and respective team of assigned area.
  • Forecasts the sales funnel for the assigned area.
  • Increase Brand Awareness & Improve Customer Allegiance Scores.
  • Work with channel partners to grow consumables business in assigned territory.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree, Business or Science, MBA in Marketing/Sales will be added advantage.
  • 7 - 10 years of business experience, with people management experience as an edge if available.
  • Ability to converse in Malayalam.

Knowledge and Skills required for the role:

  • Must be results oriented, assertive and self - motivated, possess strong organizational skills to achieve goals consistently.
  • Must possess professional selling and presentation skills to influence multiple levels at customer's organization.
  • Must have excellent negotiation skills to close sales and meet gross profit targets.
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills to communicate effectively with customers, customer service and different levels of internal and external customers.
  • Must have analytical skills and intellectual ability to develop ideas, products and solutions, apply creative thinking, prepare a business plan and report quantitative data.
