Armed CCB Security Officer

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed CCB Security Officer to join our team. This role is crucial in maintaining safety and security at our designated locations. The ideal candidate will possess strong observational skills, a solid understanding of security protocols, and the ability to respond effectively in high-pressure situations. As an Armed Security Officer, you will play a key role in protecting property and ensuring the safety of individuals on-site. Duties • Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter and detect any suspicious activities or security breaches. • Operate surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to maintain constant vigilance over premises. • Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action. • Enforce company policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor. • Provide first aid and CPR as needed during emergencies, ensuring the health and safety of individuals. • Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary, providing detailed reports on incidents. • Conduct loss prevention measures to minimize theft or damage to property. • Manage conflicts effectively, utilizing conflict management skills to de-escalate tense situations. • Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations. Requirements • Valid armed security officer certification or equivalent is required. • CCB Dispensary Card. • Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies. • First aid and CPR certification preferred; training may be provided for qualified candidates. • Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. • Previous experience in a military or security capacity is a plus. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments. • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective reporting and interaction with the public. • VALID ARMED PILB CARD • Drivers License and own transportation. We are looked for an armed officer to work part-time or full-time, with the potential to pick up extra shifts during the week.THIS POSITION REQUIRES A CANNABIS CONTRACTOR CARD AND AN ARMED PILB CARD.
