Armed Security Guard 2nd Shift - Dallas $19/hour

About the Role: Twin City Security (TCS) is seeking a reliable, professional, and highly alert Armed Security Guard to join our day shift (3pm - 11pm) team at the Greyhound Bus Terminal in Downtown Dallas. This is a high-visibility, high-responsibility position focused on maintaining a safe, secure, and orderly environment during peak overnight hours. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Patrol designated areas of the terminal, including platforms, restrooms, and lobby • Enforce Greyhound policies regarding access control, loitering, and disorderly conduct • Conduct wand searches and bag checks of passengers as directed by post orders • Respond to incidents involving intoxicated individuals, safety hazards, or security threats • Monitor foot traffic and ensure passengers are in the correct boarding area • Remain calm, composed, and professional in high-stress situations • Assist with incident reporting and communication with site supervisors and dispatch • Collaborate with Greyhound staff and on-site supervisor while maintaining clear post boundaries Requirements: • Valid Texas Level III Commissioned Security License (Armed) • Must already possess your own handgun and duty gear (duty belt, holster, mags, flashlight, etc.) • Must have or be willing to obtain OC spray and handcuff certification • Minimum 2 years of armed guard experience preferred • Must be able to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods • Excellent verbal communication and de-escalation skills • Calm and authoritative demeanor; dependable and punctual • Must pass criminal background check and drug screening Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour Benefits: • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Paid time off Work Location: In person
