Armed Security Guard (Experienced)

Twin City Security is seeking highly professional, licensed armed security officers (Level III or IV) to staff the front desk and conduct regular patrols at the Greyhound bus terminal in downtown Dallas. These roles are critical to maintaining a safe and orderly environment for staff and passengers in a high-traffic transit setting. Responsibilities: • Control access at the front entrance; verify passengers and maintain presence at assigned post • Patrol terminal interior and exterior to prevent loitering, solicitations, or disturbances • Respond to incidents involving intoxicated persons, disorderly conduct, or suspicious behavior • Conduct random bag searches and wand screenings (training provided) • Enforce policies regarding smoking, prohibited items, and terminal loitering rules • Assist with crowd control during peak hours and bus arrivals/departures • Complete incident reports and daily activity logs using digital tools (TrackTik) • Provide customer service while maintaining a professional and authoritative presence • Coordinate with law enforcement in case of emergencies or criminal activity Requirements: • Valid Texas Level III or IV Armed Security License (non-negotiable) • Must own or be willing to obtain the following: • 9mm duty firearm (holstered with Level II retention) • Duty belt with handcuffs, flashlight, OC spray, and magazine carriers • Minimum of 2 years of security, law enforcement, or military experience • Must be able to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods • Professional appearance and demeanor required • Strong communication skills; able to de-escalate tense situations effectively • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 3 months) • Must pass background check and drug screening All hours for 24/7 coverage are currently available.
