Armed Security Officer

Job Overview We are seeking licensed Level 3 (armed) officers to work on-site post positions on residential properties. These officers patrol their assigned property on foot in teams of at least two officers enforcing community rules and assisting police in their enforcement duties. These officers engage with residents and guests to ensure compliance with the rules and they report their contacts to property management through digital reports. When necessary, they will summon the police and assist them in addressing the situation. These officers wear Class A uniforms that are company provided, and they carry a duty belt equipped with a 9mm (or above) firearm, an extra mag, handcuffs and a flashlight. Taser is allowed if the officer is certified to carry. The duty belt and attached equipment is provided by the officer. These officers work five 8-hour shifts with two days off back to back. Overtime is frequently available. Shift assignments rarely change. Pay is weekly by direct deposit. These officers are required to look and behave very professionally at all times, to be reliable to their schedules, to work effectively with team mates.
