Job Description: • FLSA Status:Non-Exempt. • Part-time Available. Sunday & Monday(11pm-7am) and Monday & Tuesday(3pm-11pm). • Location:Chicago, IL. • Pay Rate:$19 Hourly. • You will need a PERC, 230 Firearm Training, Firearm, Duty Belt, and Vest. About the Job: We are looking for a fit and attentive Security Officer to ensure that our property is protected. The Security Officer is responsible for recording the names of visitors, patrolling the property, and apprehending any trespassers. To be successful as a Security Officer, you must be alert and professional. A good Security Officer is aware of all visitors to the property and ensures that no inappropriate actions take place. Security Officer Responsibilities: • Ensure that guests sign in upon arrival and exit. • Make guests aware of rules that must be adhered to. • Remove trespassers or unwanted individuals from the property. • Contact the relevant authorities if a crime is committed or an accident occurs. • Report to supervisors regularly. • Record any suspicious activities with the supervisor. Security Officer Requirements: • A high school qualification or equivalent. • State PERC License and Armed Training/License. • Must have your equipment (Firearm, Duty Belt, Vest). • Basic first aid skills would be advantageous. • Physical strength and fitness. • Prior experience as a Security Guard would be advantageous. • Attention to detail. Physical Requirements: • Constant – Seeing, hearing, feeling, standing, walking. • Occasional – reaching, stooping, climbing, balancing, driving, bending, twisting, handling paperwork. • Carrying, lifting pushing, pulling, and gripping of objects ranging in weight from under 20 lbs. to over 50 lbs.
