Armed Security Officer (Full-Time)

Job Summary We are seeking a highly vigilant and dedicated Armed Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a strong background in security practices, law enforcement, or military service, along with excellent conflict management skills. The Armed Security Officer will monitor premises through surveillance systems and provide immediate response to any incidents or emergencies. Responsibilities • Patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity. • Monitor surveillance equipment and conduct regular inspections of facilities. • Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, ensuring safety protocols are followed. • Provide first aid and CPR as needed during emergencies. • Manage conflicts effectively and de-escalate potentially volatile situations. • Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary for incident reporting. • Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations. • Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage to property. • Ensure compliance with all security policies and procedures. Qualifications • Proven experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred. • Knowledge of surveillance systems including CCTV operation. • Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable. • Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. • Familiarity with loss prevention techniques and strategies. • Excellent observational skills with attention to detail. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. • Must possess a valid armed security license as required by state regulations.
