Armed Security Officer---ON CALL

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their property. This role requires a proactive approach to security, with an emphasis on loss prevention, surveillance, and conflict management. The Armed Security Officer will utilize their training in law enforcement and emergency response to effectively respond to incidents and ensure the safety of all individuals on-site. • This is a part time on call position in the Houston TX area. Duties • Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity. • Must have Level 3 Commission Card in hand. • Must have own weapon and level 3 holster. • Must use your own vehicle. Mileage reimbursement in addition to hourly pay. • Enforce security policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times. • Conduct thorough investigations into security breaches or incidents, documenting findings accurately. • Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary, providing assistance during investigations or emergencies. • Engage in conflict management techniques to de-escalate potential confrontations effectively. Requirements • Valid armed security license or certification as required by local regulations. • Previous experience in law enforcement, military service, or security roles preferred. • Knowledge of loss prevention strategies and surveillance techniques. • Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable. • Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert and focused during long shifts. • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients, staff, and law enforcement personnel. • Ability to manage conflicts calmly and professionally while ensuring safety protocols are followed. • Must pass background checks as mandated by company policy.
