Armed Security Officer (Part-Time)

Job Title:Armed Security Officer, MUST BE 23+ Location:Phoenix, Arizona Employment Type:Part Time Pay Rate:$24.50/HR Shift:Monday-Wednesday (7:30pm-11:30pm) PLUS Saturday-Sunday (5:00am-9:00am returning 7:30pm-11:30pm) Licensing Policy: • We do not provide assistance with obtaining or renewing armed guard licensing. • Candidates must have current and valid licensing at the time of application. • Expired licenses will not be accepted under any circumstances. Position Summary: We are seeking highly motivated and professionalArmed Security Officersto provide safety and security for a government facility located in Phoenix, Arizona. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in an armed security role and possess the discipline and commitment to maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, visitors, and government property. Key Responsibilities: • Provide a strong security presence by patrolling designated areas on foot or by vehicle. • Monitor surveillance systems and respond to suspicious activity or emergencies. • Enforce access control procedures and verify identification of individuals entering the premises. • Maintain detailed logs and write incident reports as required. • Respond quickly and effectively to alarms, incidents, or requests for assistance. • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary. • Uphold all federal, state, and local laws as well as the specific policies of the facility. Requirements: • Must be 23 years of age or older • Valid Arizona Armed Security Guard Card(required) • Licensed to carry a firearm in the state of Arizona • Minimum of 1 year prior experiencein an armed security or law enforcement position • Must have driver's license with CLEAN driving record. • Strong observational skills and the ability to remain alert and responsive at all times • Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Must pass a background check and drug screening Preferred Qualifications: • Military or law enforcement background • First Aid/CPR certification • Familiarity with operating security monitoring equipment Work Environment: • Government building with both indoor and outdoor patrol responsibilities • Physically demanding role requiring walking, standing, and occasional response to security incidents • Professional uniform must be worn at all times Job Type: Full-time Pay: $24.50 per hour Application Question(s): • How many points are on your driving record?
