Armed Security Officer

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their properties. This role requires a proactive approach to security, ensuring the protection of personnel, assets, and information while adhering to all legal and regulatory requirements. Duties • Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity. • Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents, taking appropriate action as necessary. • Conduct thorough surveillance using CCTV systems to ensure the safety of premises. • Enforce security policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times. • Provide first aid and CPR assistance as needed in emergency situations. • Manage conflicts effectively through de-escalation techniques and conflict resolution strategies. • Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to report incidents or provide information. • Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes. • Participate in ongoing training related to loss prevention, surveillance techniques, and emergency response protocols. Experience • Previous experience in security or law enforcement is preferred; military experience is a plus. • Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance equipment is highly desirable. • Certification in CPR and First Aid is advantageous. • Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. • Knowledge of loss prevention strategies and techniques is beneficial. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
