Location: Monterrey/Hybrid 3 days per week

Job Description:

As a Technology Architect in Python, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure on AWS. You will be responsible for automating infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment using Infrastructure as Code principles.

Required Skills and Experience:
Mandatory:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
• 10+ years of total experience
• Strong proficiency in AWS services (EKS, RDS, S3, ECR, IAM, Lambda, etc.)
• Expertise in Kubernetes and containerization technologies (Docker)
• Proficiency in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code
• Solid scripting skills in Python and Shell
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Helm, Harness)
• Knowledge of secrets management practices
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Fluency in English
• Strong communication and documentation skills

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Java or C#
• Knowledge of Kafka
• Experience with Agile methodologies
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A passion for learning and staying up-to-date with the latest technologies
• A proactive and results-oriented mindset

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS, including EKS, RDS, S3, ECR, IAM, Lambda, and more.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform.
Containerize applications using Docker and deploy them to Kubernetes clusters (EKS).
Manage secrets and sensitive information using industry-standard practices.
Develop and maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for infrastructure and procedures.
Collaborate with development teams to implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like Helm or Harness.
Guide juniors in the team in technology aspects to ensure timely delivery.
Write efficient and maintainable scripts in Python and Shell.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and best practices.
